Thank you for your interests in The Institutional Diversity Blog over the years. It have been almost 15 years since I started this blog with Kindra Cotton, along with many colleagues as guest bloggers. We’ve covered a broad range of blog topics, provided resources and a glossary of terms. The goal was to provide a comprehensive website covering aspects of EDI to drive culture change. Since its inception in 2012, the blog has reached
over 100 countries and has been listed as a leading reference source by many organizations, including The Associate of College, Research Libraries, NSERC and UC Berkeley Physics Department. Feedspot also ranked IDB 4th among the 20 Best DEI blogs to follow in 2026. While this blog has been a labor of love, I am taking a hiatus to pursue other endevors. The blogs will remain available on the site. I recommend you navigate to the featured post archive section that provides links to all blog posts by year.
